Ketamine Treatment for Depression

Does anyone have experience with this? Therapy and/or multiple medications with several different doctors aren't working. Any experience info would be so helpful!

No personal experience but be careful. While there are a lot of pop up for profit clinics that do this now it has risks. If you are serious about it consider using a major medical center that is well respected and hopefully affiliated with research efforts like www.cuimc.columbia.edu/news/ketamine-treatment-depression-what-you-need-know

You don’t want to end up somewhere that is just looking to make a buck off of you and not following all protocols and monitoring your best interest.

H tried one session. He said the sensation was similar to pot but made him kind of nauseous. It was also *really* expensive because of the monitoring aspects. He hasn't tried it again and didn't really feel like he got anything about it. He was doing it more so for being resistant to psychotherapy though than depression (which he also has).

A family member does the treatments. I noticed significant differences and then was told about it. It’s been a process, though. Lots of close monitoring and working with doctors to adjust other medication. While the differences at times are amazing, it’s not without its own drawbacks and there are still peaks and valleys.
