Friday: Wandered around Costco Sat.: Ebike+lunch with some teammates Sunday: Ebike
BQ: I'm having hand surgery for really bad carpal tunnel on my right hand this week, so I'll be off the bike all week. I'm calling it my usual week off in August when we are in "Hell's Front Porch" season. Left hand is in 3 weeks.
I was a sloth this weekend. In my defense, I biked and ran a bunch last week, and it was a cutback week for mileage. Perhaps i will do a strength session tonight.
BQ: My weekday runs go up to 4.5m this week. I'm trying to eat more protein. Work is going to suck, probably. But it'll be ok.

laterz Thanks! Trying to squeeze in everything before I lose good health insurance. The other hand gets done in a few weeks. (Tomorrow was planned a few months ago...)
Fri: rest Sat: sweated my butt off at DD's swim meet Sun: sweated my butt off running 7 miles, which turned into almost 8 because I had to double back to a portopotty at one point. My stomach was not loving the heat and humidity.
Upcoming week is Tues 3 miles, Wed 6 miles, Thurs 3 miles, weekend 12 miles. I'm ready for a break in the weather!
The weekend didn't go as planned due to weather/smoke, but oh well. My legs felt dead all weekend anyway but I still got out there:
Fri: Planned a big hike but turned around 2 hours in because the smoke was growing and starting to get to us. Sat: Bike ride, realized my body does not bike in the heat of the afternoon as well as my usual mornings. Sunday: Urban hike, walked 12 miles and had the best pastry in memory along the way, will have to go back. It was made with fresh berries and just tasted like summer in a bun.
Sat: 15 mile run. I’ll be honest. This run suuuucked. Sun: 30 min peloton
BQ: Run club tonight (5 miles) and drinks. I will rest tomorrow and then run W, Th. I am going to visit a friend Fri-Sun, so I need to fit in a 17 miler. Not sure how I can do that…
