Friday: Off Sat.: Ebike with friends Sunday: Ebike
I had carpal tunnel release surgery Monday, so I kept rides this weekend shorter since I didn't want to keep anything from healing (pressure on that hand riding). The next one will be done in 2 weeks, so probably no off road riding til mid-Sept. Boo!

Sat: 3 mile run, strength, 2 mile walk Sun: 3 mile run, core, 2 mile walk
I had to work Saturday, boo! But it had the benefit of keeping me inside, out of the oppressive heat. I love summer, but I could do without the humidity making it feel like it’s over 100.
Sat: Did some yard work that resulted in regrettably sore hamstrings and lower back Sun: Ran 12 miles, regretted the aforementioned hamstrings and back, lol
I need to get a better handle on my hydration. I brought 30 oz. of water with me on my run, and it was definitely not enough. H had already offered to bring the kids to a designated point on the path I was running along for a mid run cheer sesh so I asked him to bring me some Nuun too. In all I drank like 45 oz of water + Nuun in 12 mi and didn't take any pee breaks.
Still no covid for me AFAIK. Still feeling just a tad congested, but no + test.
Friday - ran 3.5 and then the rain started Saturday - chased children around during their triathlon (when there's age group waves and a looooooooong T1 run and you have two kids you put in a lot of steps hustling back and forth to try and see everything), then it was Sizzli's birthday party, which was a backyard bbq. All in it was a 15k step day. Sunday - Ran 8. Shockingly given the cocktails during the party and aforementioned steps, this felt pretty good. Helps that it was only 8. Gave myself a stepback to start my new training plan.
Friday - pushed my dad’s wheelchair 2.5 miles on the trail Saturday - grass cutting for about an hour Sunday - more grass cutting
This is a challenging season for me with workouts and also food (I’m splitting full time nursing duties with my sister hours from home, trying not to also totally suck as a wife, mom, and employee)… and the weight of it is constant. But I’m typing this from the bike at home so that is something anyway.
