This is such a hard balance! I think I probably am going to hold off on donating again until after MCM. I haven't since late May though so I feel bad every time I see the emails about low supply.

Susie - Definitely listen to your body! If you have to postpone until October, do it. My iron levels drop during marathon training and I nearly missed the cutoff last summer for donation. And I typically don’t have that issue. I did some research and apparently the trauma of long-distance running causes mini abrasions in the feet and blood loss/iron levels to dip. Just something to keep in mind!
Friday - blew off my run in favor of rest after a very very long work day from 8:30 AM to 11 PM with networking dinner and 3 cocktails. Sat - open water swim 1000m Sun - Ran 9
