I figure now might be a good time to start shopping since I am usually a procrastinating fool and panic at the end.

Are Ugg Tasmans still in for tweens? They’re available currently so I may grab some for DD.

What else are you shopping for early?!?

No, I've already bought my kid a Sol De Janiero gift set that was on sale.

And I pre-ordered the laneige lip holiday set for her as well.

I need to figure out Uggs, but I'm afraid of buying the wrong size with the way her feet grow.

I bought MH a winter hat he wanted when it was on sale back in mid-July so I vote no....lol.

Yes, Ugg Tasmans are still popular with the tweens/teens.

It's DD's birthday next week so we're still working on her birthday gifts, and we just got done with DS's birthday gifts as well.

I might start looking for DH, but that's about it.

Costco has Christmas trees up already and I got an ad for old navy Christmas pajamas. So no not too early I guess but I’m sure not ready to think about it.

Caught a sale at Verizon so I got DS an iPad. We planned to upgrade his next school year anyway.

DD is getting a new laptop. Also planned to upgrade next summer.

DD has been saying all year that she wants a telescope. The one we decided to get her dropped from $129 to $49 about 2 weeks ago so we snagged that.
This is about the time I like to start adding ideas to my Amazon lists. DS always wants Mario LEGOs so I saved a bunch of new sets that just came out on amazon so I can keep an eye on the prices.

Ha DD's birthday is at the end of Oct and I thought I was on the ball bc I've already found several ideas for that.

Christmas is not even on my radar.

I am impressed by all you Christmas super shoppers. I would strongly prefer to take a trip for Xmas this year instead of gifts. I guess I should start lobbying for that now.

Ugh, I have DS' birthday in Oct, then DD in Nov. Christmas comes quick... I currently have no gift ideas for either birthday or Christmas.

Each year I usually end up complaining on MM Moms that I'm also supplying ideas to grandparents/aunts/uncles. It gets harder coming up with suggestions each year as the kids are less interested in toys. We end up with so much STUFF just for the sake of saying they have a present.

We did take a big family trip this summer for the first time. The kids are really interested in traveling again. I'd love to push for trips/experiences in lieu of presents, but I think we have one more Christmas of DD believing. It makes me feel like we need something special under the tree from Santa.

No. I bought DH some Duke Cannon soap for his stocking during their Labor Day sale. That is, however, the extent of my Christmas shopping so far.

Yes. I like to have my shopping done and wrapped by early December (mostly, there's usually a few odds and ends I need to pick up). I also start watching Christmas movies in September. Just watched Single All The Way this week! ETA: lol, I meant No, it's not too early. Sorry, I'm tired!

Definitely not too early! I always set up an Amazon list for my kids to keep track of ideas, my parents use it as well. I have been adding stuff for about a month, but it's getting harder to think of things for DS.

DD is easy, typical tween - she wants stuff for her room, skincare, clothes, etc.

DS is 9 and I don't want to buy more toys and it seems like he has every type of science and art kit, all the gadgets/robots/cars, games, etc. He wants a snow cone maker so he will get that but otherwise I am stumped.

We already bought a few things- fishing pole for DS2 and cornhole for DS1.

We are in the process of a move, so when I find something special for their rooms, I ear mark it for Christmas. (ie. Bed now, cute bedside lamp that looks like a tiny chandelier for Christmas because DD joked that she wanted a chandelier for her room).

I’m def thinking about it, but DD’s birthday was just last month, and DS’s birthday is at the end of this month, so that’s my current focus.

But DD (who is the easiest for me to shop for) has given me some ideas, and I bought a couple small things for my mom, so I guess I’ve started.

I get the kids each a new ornament every year and got them on vacation this summer, so that is done.

DD is getting a phone, so we are keeping an eye out for deals. So many phones are huge anymore, prefer to get her a smaller one. That's obviously her main gift. Will get her books, a hoodie, and Uggs to round it out.

DS2 is getting a gaming computer. Likely a hoodie, a comfy blanket, and Pokémon cards.

DS1 Maybe a comfy chair, a hoodie, and???

After this year then all 3 will have phones. I really think next year we could try to do trips instead of gifts as there really won't be much left to surprise them with otherwise.

Telescope suggestions? I have a kid who has gotten really into space, planets and stars lately and just asked about a telescope. I have no idea what to look for!

I have only a couple of people to buy for. They will probably get something from Amazon on Black Friday since they all live in other states. My dad has loved the jerky I've gotten him several years, so I'll find another gift basket that is a bit different. If I don't have a job, I won't be buying anyone but him a gift. Everyone else will understand. I plan to send cards since I still have stamps from last year and some generic Christmas/holiday cards in my office cabinet--the kind you used to buy in a box at Walmart.

My boys have birthdays in September and November so I’m keeping a running list of gift ideas. Christmas will be whatever they don’t get for their birthdays. Lots of lego kits and switch games on both lists.

I did pickup a Minecraft stuffed animal for DS2. He’s currently obsessed with Minecraft.

DD just wants gift cards and money.

I feel like my kids change their mind too much between now and December (and they are 15 &17- so not little kids).

SD turns 18 in early December so I need to figure out if we are doing one big gift for that or….

But it’s like 104 here so I’m definitely not in the Christmas shopping mood.

Belt bag, wallet, and some $5-10 giftcards? I'd treat it a bit like a stocking and add fun chapstick, hair ties, Tictacs, etc. 

I just spent the day with a room full of 8/9 year olds and almost all the girls had a belt bag they were wearing crossbody and it was very cool to pull out some chapstick or a sparkly pen to show off to each other.

Both kids will be getting one Disney Loungefly backpack each. They kept asking for them after our trip to Disney Paris so I said for Christmas. I'm eyeing the one for DS to catch it at the best price. Not sure yet of which one to get DD but she has time to give me some ideas.

The other day DS asked me "Where can you get the bigger stickers with the white border like DD has?" I mentioned a few placed online and he seemed disappointed because he likes shopping for things IRL with me. So I said he'd get some for Christmas and he perked up and ran away happy.

DD's birthday is in the beginning of December. She just said today she would like some stick on nails. I responded "easy enough."
