I finished Coram House by Bailey Seybolt. It was interesting but there were some odd bits of writing that were repetitive. I swear we knew every time the main character took a shower.
I read Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea (typical enjoyable cozy fantasy) and Worst-Case Scenario, which is basically a blockbuster action movie on paper. Wildly melodramatic, but it did what I wanted it to do, and it made me cry. I’ve also read 80 pages of Bel Canto, but I put it down for this week because it isn’t the mood I’m in.
I’m reading Weyward now. Yay for fall witchy books!
QOTW: Yeah….reading is pretty much it. I started a bookstagram so I could find bookish people to hang out with. So far this month, I’m going to a lit fest, a book signing, shopping at an indie bookstore, and on a reading retreat. You could say I’m obsessed!
I finished the new Lisa Wingate “Shelterwood”. I liked it well enough. I am currently reading “The Life Impossible” by Matt Haig. I am struggling with it, but it’s a short book and will add to the book count for the year.
QOTD: I cycle. I’m over 700 miles for the year. I also Pilates. I do all that so I can enjoy lots of cooking and baking.
Still slogging through the 2nd and now onto the 3rd book in the Worldbreaker series by Kameron Hurley. The third book might be the best of them if only because the characters have some slight hints of depth here and I finally understand all the players....but it SHOULDN'T TAKE A THOUSAND+ PAGES TO GET THERE MS. HURLEY.
Hobbies - running, biking, triathlon, sailing, crocheting, knitting, cooking weird stuff, a wee bit of gardening, occasional sewing...a lot of hobbies.

Finally getting back in to the groove of reading.
Finally finished "The Good Wife" Gemma Rogers 3*'s - another major TW for DV, emotional abuse, control. Kindle keeps recommending books for me along the same lines, but now I need a new theme that's much lighter.
Currently reading
It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han (The Summer I Turned Pretty #2) - this one is even heavier, so it's taking longer than I'd like
I just started "First Lie Wins" and so far so good
QOTW: My hobbies are pretty much non-existent this year, but I like to crochet and/or knit. I need to start making hats and scarves for a friend who does a warm clothing drive every winter. A local cat shelter also collects large granny squares to send the cats home from the shelter. I love dropping off the finished product <3
