For reasons Iāve never been able to pin down, Field of Dreams is my favorite movie ever. I donāt particularly like baseball, nor do I really care that much Kevin Costner. But I can close my eyes and imagine JEJ with a huge grin on his face trying so start the wave on wooden bleachers in the middle of an Iowa cornfield.

I don't usually cry at celebrity deaths, but this one made me tear up. So many amazing movies. And not only did he have an amazing voice but his smile would just light up the screen. May he rest in peace.

What a titan - we watched the first Simpson's Halloween special last night in his honor (he voices characters in all three vignettes). DH was saying he loved him in Dr. Strangelove.
I met him when I was 18 and a tech at a performing arts center. He was very nice to me the theater geek who knew of him only from Shelley Duvall's Faerie Tale Theatre
One of my favorites episodes of the Big Bang Theory was the one with Sheldon and JEJ hanging out after Sheldon approached him at a dinner to ask him to attend his own comic con.

I follow Ally Henny and Mookie the Magnificent and both have shared that James Earl Jones said some derogatory things about Black women.
Henny has asked white people to not comment on her page in response to this, so I am not sharing my personal thoughts on this here, but I encourage people to visit her FB page to learn more.

Carrie Fisher was in that episode too! They did ding dong ditch at her front door.
