Omg I’m trying to watch this and just chill out tonight but it is terrible. The acting is bad and that horrifically cheesy choreographed dance number in the beginning?!!?

I liked it, it’s not going to win any awards but I thought it was campy and entertaining. I read the book when it came out but remember nothing other than a wedding guest died at the beginning so it was all new to me, lol.
I think the appeal was the cheese! I didn’t expect to be good-good—similar to the authors books imo
I did think there was only one person who made sense as the killer and they could have tried to make that more of a mystery but I guess it was really more about the family than a mystery despite all the interrogation scenes.

Glad I'm not the only one who read it and completely forgot the plot, lol.
I've only watched the first episode so far but plan to continue!
I also liked it, for what it was. Yes, Shooter was definitely hot. But Liev Schrieber, despite playing a very unlike able character, was also hot in a silver fox kinda way.
We are watching it and enjoying it. It’s silly and fluffy but it’s not really trying too hard. It’s full of actors I like and I am appreciative of the fact that Nicole Kidman is not Floating and Ethereal for a change and actually has a bit of an edge.

I’ve always liked him. Somehow in my head he was more my age and not father of adult kids age? But that’s probably just me in denial of how old I actually am.
I watched it and liked it. It's not a great masterpiece of television, but it was reasonably entertaining.
While Shooter is hot, I found his name to be a massive turn off. In the infinite world of names for a fictional character, choosing 'Shooter' in this day and age is in very poor taste, IMO.
Apparently the cast was angry about the dance number.
I actually liked it. It was silly and fun, which was a sharp contrast to what the show is about. It’s a lie and a misdirect just like every character and the family as a whole.
Nicole Kidman seems like an ice queen in every role she does and I’ve now decided in real life. Does she have personality?
Benji looked like Topher Grace and Will looked like James Franco. And Amelia was from The Nick. I was distracted by all this.

Interesting - he is 56. I feel like they did makeup to age him/match his consumption habits. Especially next to the fakeness of Nicole Kidman’s face - wig included. To me it got to a bit of the old money v new money angle.
I thought it was fine. My husband fell asleep a few times. Haha.
I loved the woman detective. I’m too lazy to look up her name but I’ve only seen her in My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend so it was interesting to see her in a serious role.

Wikipedia tells me he was born in ‘67, which makes him closer to my age than my parents age, but barely. I think they made him look a little older. He also recently played Otto Frank (Anne Frank’s father) in A Small Light and they made him look older in that too (despite Otto Frank not being terribly old then).

I guess I hadn't seen watched anything of his since Ray Donovan, so I was still picturing that version of him. I think they did make him look older, but I still like him!

I'm confused by her these days! I feel like she's a one note actress now and I'm not drawn to any of her shows. There was one... on Prime, maybe, where she and her husband were in Singapore, I think. I couldn't watch it.
