Has anyone switched from a gas to electric oven? I vastly prefer cooking on a gas range, but my husband is concerned about upper respiratory issues associated with gas ovens. (He and my son both have asthma.)

Duel fuel ranges are generally pricier, but are supposed to be amazing. From what I’ve heard, electric ovens are supposed to heat more evenly than gas, and can be superior to gas ovens, but gas stoves are easier to adjust heat and cook on IME.

We did. We don’t cook that much on the stove top, so it hasn’t been that much of an issue for us, plus like others have said the oven cooks much more evenly than when we had a gas oven.
Having a range hood that vents outside (not recirculating) helps immensely with indoor air quality. Granted, you are just putting the byproducts out into the environment and all those ramifications. But making sure it vents outside and running it every time you turn on the over or range can tide you over until you get a dual fuel range. At least, that’s what we are doing. I want dual fuel so bad (I HATE my gas oven), but I have failed to convince H it is a priority.
I want to switch someday. I’m in the minority in that I prefer electric but our house came with gas. To switch, we would need to run a higher voltage wire to the kitchen because we don’t have one already. Most electric stoves require a 220V outlet vs the standard 120V. That’s expensive and hasn’t been a priority yet. We probably won’t do it unless we someday remodel our kitchen. If you already have the right outlet it is probably an easy switch.
We switched to electric over air quality concerns.
We now have induction and I absolutely love it. We can boil water so fast, and the cooktop is so much easier to clean. We did have to get a couple new pans (particularly non stick), but a lot of our old pans worked. You can try sticking a magnet to your pans to see if they are induction ready. I don't notice much difference with the oven part, though we picked one with convection, which I also like.

Our big issue is the venting. We have venting in place but are unclear if it actually vents outside.
I grew up with electric (it was important to my mom because she had no own someone growing up injusred by a gas range). I’ve had gas in all my rentals and our current house but will be switching to electric when we move next week. I will say that I didn’t develop asthma until I was an adult and living in places with gas ranges so I’m hoping the switch helps me and my daughter. The range more than the oven has been an issue. Ours vents outside (and leaks during big storms as a result) but that isn’t enough to help.it’s the worst during smoke season when we can’t have all windows open all the time.

Another vote for induction. It came with our latest house and I'm converted for life. It is so much easier to clean and very different from standard electric glass top cleaning. Water boils so fast, and it's just as responsive as gas in terms of turning up, turning down or turning off the heat.
My friend just did the switch from a commercial gas range (came with the house) to a convection range. She's older, so I half expected it to be a mistake for her, but she loves it. Hers is similar to this one. She's a vegetarian who lives alone, so a large oven wasn't her thing.
My son's babysitter and her foodie husband moved to a neighborhood that doesn't have gas available. He bought a convection cooktop and is surprised how much he likes it.

H and I got an induction oven. We LOVE it! Our house had no electric line to the stove so we had to hire an electrician for that and buy the stove. No regrets. We really didn't like that our gas oven was making the air unhealthy in our house and spewing toxins outside as it vented.
