Why so many men wear sandals that are way too big. I don’t understand the appeal. It’s makes your feet look smaller and it’s a tripping hazard. They walk weird in them to keep them on. Why not buy flip flops that actually fit? The man behind me at old navy today had on a new pair of rainbows that were probably 2 sizes too big. Mystifying.

Or why recycling bins are even available if the school/company/etc. doesn't use a recycling system and everything goes back in to the dumpster/landfill? I've heard recycling is "just too expensive", but then they operate like it's the 70's and we don't have paperless options...

The general public. I work with them, and I have a lot of stories! Lately, they have been coming in asking about something that was reported in the news, but if you just read the news article.... anyway.

The latest, we had a teenage girl drive into our parking lot, took the turn way too fast, hit a lightpole, a tree, and 2 cars. Then you see 4 teenage boys run out of the car like they thought it was going to explode and her on the phone calling her parents presumably. We watched that video way too may times lol.

How the “three sheet method” is considered hygienic at hotels. Maybe I’m just a wild sleeper, but I’ve seen, if not come in contact with, the middle comforter, every time I’ve slept in a hotel. I assume that means others touch it as well, so, not very clean.

We have cameras in the parking lot, so it was just so funny to watch on repeat.  Everyone was fine, and luckily no pedestrians were out because then she would have caused significant issues.  This is just one of many many stories.

They are roundabouts in IN. If everyone follows the rules they are so much better than a regular 4 way stop intersection.

I grew up with rotary in NH, but enjoyed using the word roundabout during my time in the south. Now I'm back in New England looking like an out of towner trying to remember to say rotary.

DD called them "traffic spirals" when she was younger, which was probably my favorite. Probably because I hate them and end up driving around about 6 times before I can get in the right place.

As someone else who has had a lot of work travel in the last month, I also want to add the people who crowd the gate as soon as boarding starts and the people that immediately stand up and block the aisle as soon as the plane lands. Also, the people that cram their carryon, personal item, various shopping bags, and their coat into the overhead bin when space is at a premium.
