My daughter got her temps recently and we need to start practice driving. People told me to download “Road Ready,” an app that makes it easy to track driving hours. But, I saw that it has really bad reviews, and there are several other apps that look similar that have good reviews. Can anyone recommend an app that you liked for tracking driving hours?
Yeah, I definitely am not going to keep up with a paper tracker. I'm terrible at not losing them, remembering to bring them, remembering to write stuff down. So I definitely want an online app. If nobody else has a good one, maybe I'll just go with the Road Ready that people here seem to use.
We don't have to submit it, but I want to track for curiosity's sake.

My DS has used Road Ready for a couple of months now, and he hasn't made any negative comments about it to us so far.
Another option could be Google Sheets or another spreadsheet software app on her phone? Not as easy as an app, of course, but also easier/quicker to total hours than on paper.
I used a paper tracker back in the day, and it worked just fine, lol.

My DH used Road Ready to track our kid's driving time because he's the designated driving instruction parent. It was fine. DH did the tracking because we did need to submit the log to the state and we didn't want DC to be distracted at all while learning to drive.

I just used google sheets. I was really good about tracking for a while just to make sure we were getting enough in. She needs 50 hours. Once we got to 35 with over 2 months left before the soonest she could get her license I figured we were good. I’m not actively tracking anymore. But Google sheets worked fine. Easy enough to just in put on the app on my phone.
