expectantsteelerfan , have you tried putting baby powder in them under the foot bed? Iāve done that with squeaky sneakers before and itās worked sometimes to kind of lubricate the bits in the shoe that are rubbing together.
Thank you for this recommendation. The baby powder didn't work entirely, but it made me realize what was making the noise. I have arch support insoles in them. Nike doesn't have removable insoles, but these fit ok with the arch support insole overtop the Nike insole, but that is what was rubbing/moving and making noise.
So I can wear them without the insole and not have noise, but now they aren't supportive so can only be worn when I'm not actually going to be on my feet a lot.
I have a lifestyle sneaker addiction. I have classic low chucks, vans, nike legacy, onitsuka tigers, plus two running sneaks that I wear as lifestyle as well. I am asking for nike waffles for Christmas, lol.
Do you have Nordstrom Rack? They have so many cute sneakers. You could just see what they have.
I have like 3 pairs of Nike right now, which is unusual. Various styles mentioned above.
But, I really love my Asics Sportstyle and the way they fit/feel. I still have 2 pairs I wear that are worn out and dirty and one actually has a small hole on top now. I want another pair of those but I can't decide if I want the Lyte Classic again or more like the leather-look kind. Thanks to this thread I am now looking at them again!

I love shoes so much, but Iām transitioning to almost exclusively wearing sneakers. So Iām in the process of building a collection. š
