I am looking for fun, every day shoes, not ones I'm gonna run or workout in. My vans and HT converse are on their last legs, and I can't decide what to buy next.
I just bought some bright blue low chucks. I've gotten compliments on them several times in the two weeks I've had them! I think they are actually my first pair of Converse ever, too.

I've owned a couple pairs of Chucks, but they always rub on my pinky toe. It bums me out, because none of my other converse do this.

I LOVE the look of my Nike Court Legacy's, but they squeak/groan when I wear them and it drives me nuts. DD told me she thought I was farting repeatedly one time when I was wearing them, and that has stuck in my head and made me not wear them. I see several people named those...does anyone else have this issue???
But honestly, what I wear most often are my Kizik Milans, or my white leather Kiziks (can't remember which model, just plain white leather) because of the ease of slipping on and off.
I switch between New Balances and Brooks trainers. Both bought at a dedicated running store, I have very flat feet and associated problems and need sneakers with extra arch support. Nikes don't cut it anymore.
expectantsteelerfan, have you tried putting baby powder in them under the foot bed? I’ve done that with squeaky sneakers before and it’s worked sometimes to kind of lubricate the bits in the shoe that are rubbing together.

I had to toss a pair of chucks that I wore maybe three times. Each time it rubbed the skin off one of my toes and was super painful to wear shoes after. The final time I wore them I almost tossed them in the trash in the parking lot when we were leaving to come home.

Well I'm glad it's not just me! I have "normal" sized feet too, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
