We’re watching Freaks and Geeks - definitely lived up to the hype. It’s so sad that it didn’t catch on, I think it was just ahead of its time.
DH and I have rewatched this at least 8 times. It’s so good.
it’s so true - I don’t think I’ve seen another high school movie or show that actually captured moments I lived. When she chooses to go out with friends over handing out candy with her mom but her friends just drive around and don’t do anything. Omg it’s like I was 16 again. I knew the main girl from ER - they all definitely had major careers!
I've seen the first three episodes and it's so good...so weird, and so funny. The sound track is fantastic.
I saw Yellow Jackets on Netflix. I loved season 1 and may re-watch. I keep checking my library for the S2 DVD but they haven't ordered it. We don't have whatever premium channel it was on.
ETA: Oh and I'm excited for the new season of Abbott Elementary. No spoilers, but I'm happy with the way the last season ended.

Favorite right now is Bad Monkey on Apple TV Nobody wants this Penguin House of the dragon (we just started the first season) How to Die Alone on Hulu Monsters
We watched No One Wants This in two nights. We really loved it. Love Is Blind The Circle Golden Bachelorette Monster- only season 2. I can't stomach Jeffrey Dahmer stuff Trying Tell Me Lies
Oh we started this and forgot about it! We did like it though. It’s too hard to keep track of all the different streaming services. Roku needs to come up with a centralized watch list.

I’ve been binging Homicide: Life on the Street. It’s old (90s), but new to streaming. It’s on Peacock. I loved it when it was on originally, and I’m loving watching it again. It holds up so well. The first several seasons were some of the best of any show from that era. (The last 1-2 seasons, however, were not great)
H started watching it bc of the Marvel connection, but it sucked me in bc it has a great cast and apparently I like witch plotlines better than superhero plotlines.
I’m watching The English Teacher and Only Murders in the Building. I didn’t care for the last season, but this season is pretty good.
Not a show, but I watched the movie Didi last night and while it took a little while to get into it, and I wondered at first as the mother of a preteen boy whether it was wise to watch, it was really good.
Slow Horses on Apple. LOVE this show but H and I really like British crime dramas.
Amazing Race on Fubo (only have it for a month)
I have Will & Harper (movie/documentary) and Nobody Wants This on my Netflix list.
ETA: I'm also excited because Bad Sisters (Apple TV) is coming out with a second season. So if you haven't watched that I highly recommend it.
Will & Harper was a little slow at times, but really good. My mom was in town last week and we were trying to decide whether to see Will & Harper or Saturday Night at the movie theater. We chose Saturday Night, and so I was glad to see Will & Harper in my Netflix queue a few days later.

I’m parenting solo this weekend and plan to start this tonight with the kids. We love a good Marvel show and really liked WandaVision (although Ms. Marvel was our favorite).
Oh, I thought of another one, a new show that is currently running, so only 2 episodes out yet (maybe 3, I forget what day of the week it's on)...High Potential. I DVR it, but it's on Hulu next day I think.
I really like this, even though it's hard for me to not see her as Sweet Dee. It was originally a European (French?) show, but I didn't like it as much so I gave up after a couple episodes.
Others I recently watched and really liked: How to Die Alone Nobody Wants This

this one and nypd blue are on our watch list.
We just finished Southland on tubi. Very good. The Wire is great of course and the Shield too.
Sometimes we google goat lists or ‘ shows that hold up’ to find good ones.

Oh, I’ll have to try this. I like police shows when I’m on the treadmill.
We just started The Gentleman on Netflix (the Guy Ritchie tv adaptation of his movie of the same name, but as far as I can tell it's a slightly different plot), and the horror anime Uzumaki (this one just started and is airing weekly).
We're also in the middle of The Bear, close to wrapping up the final season of Snowpiercer, close(ish) to wrapping up the final season of Sex Education, and partway into the Wyatt Earp documentary thing on Netflix.
I'm also halfway through Bridgerton season 3, which my H doesn't watch. LOL!
I watched Kaos on Netflix last week because I saw it mentioned here. Great show! Jeff Goldblum is charismatic as always.
Now enjoying Nobody Wants This, also on Netflix. Kristen Bell and Adam Brody are cute. I’m just trying to get past some heavy-handed writing of the supporting characters.
Abbott Elementary is great this year, and the Great British Baking Show is off to a good start.
Veep is so good (max) I recently watched Derry Girls and was obsessed. It took a few episodes to get into it, but my god, one of the funniest and sweetest shows out there. (netflix) Sex Education (netflix) I hate watched Yellowstone. I did not like any of the characters but enjoyed the show drama. (peacock) Abbott Elementary (hulu and I think Max) Resident Alien is great for background, campy, silly stuff (peacock) Shrinking (apple) Ted Lasso (apple) Psych (prime) Secret Lives of Mormon Wives (hulu) Schitts Creek (hulu) New Girl (hulu) Life in Pieces (hulu)
Just started watching your honor and after two episodes I think I may not continue (h probably will still watch it) love Brian Cranston but honestly the show is so bleak that it was bad for me mentally and I’m not sure I want to keep going especially knowing it’s not just one season.
This was one of the most challenging shows to watch. It is SO bleak and honestly never gets better, if anything it gets worse. It was really, really hard.
