Donating wedding dresses

I’m decluttering and want to get rid of my wedding dress. We have been married 17 years so I’m sure it horribly outdated and not worth trying to sell.

I know we talked about it here before and someone mentioned a charity that makes burial gowns for still born babies/infants. Does anyone remember the name of the charity?

It won’t sell for anything close to what you paid for it, but this is the perfect time to sell it as a Halloween costume. $20 on Facebook marketplace would have it off your hands quickly.

When I looked at that organization, they said they no longer needed gowns. I also contacted local theater companies and no one wanted it. They all said to donate to a local thrift store, which I think would just get trashed (which is fine!) or to throw it away myself. It feels so wasteful to throw it away!
