New Orleans recs

We’ll be there for 2 days in two weeks; going to Taylor Swift one night. We are flying into Pensacola & spending the night in Gulf Shores then driving to NOLA on Friday & concert is Saturday. Sunday we are going to drive back to Pensacola stopping in Biloxi.

Obviously we have Bourbon Street and Cafe du Monde and the st Louis Cathedral area in our plans but looking for historical tours, ghost tours and best places to get gumbo etc. We have an all day parking spot on Saturday near the Superdome but are willing to Uber/Lyft away from it during the day. We are staying outside of the city because of ridiculous hotel prices due to Taylor so that’s why we bought all day parking.

It will be me, DH and 16yo DD.

For specific tours just google, there should be a lot of options.

For gumbo, not sure where you're staying but chef Ron's is in Metairie.

Honestly there's a lot of good gumbo! Just no tourist trap looking places!

Acme is good and there's one in the quarter and one in Metairie
Deanies, also several locations.

If you wanna pm me where you'll be I could maybe be more specific.

I think Ubers are gonna be rough that weekend!
