Ghostbusters? Stranger Things? Nightmare before Christmas? (I've never seen this so I don't know)
I know you said no horror, but I am SO EXCITED to see the newest Salem's Lot movie. I've seen the other two. I also haven't seen the latest It movies, and I want to watch them before Welcome to Derry starts. I don't tend to like horror movies, but I really like Stephen King... I'm weird...
Anything having to do with Charlie Brown. I’m a sucker for all of those.I also liked the Spookly the Square Pumpkin on Disney.
We had so many fun Halloween books when our kids were little. I swear we read “Five Little Pumpkins” every night for almost a year with DS and there was a slightly obscure book about a car race where monsters were the drivers that DD loved.
Ditto Charlie Brown. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. My kids thought it was great when we would get pizza after Trick or Treat and watch Charlie Brown. Dd and I have already watched it once this year. My kids always were into ghost stories as am I, so we always watch things like the Most Haunted Places in America, A Haunting.
And for those that do like horror, we are obsessed with The Conjuring. Some of the sequels and spin-offs are better than others. And the original Halloween.

I remember watching “watcher in the woods” on Halloween in class in 6th grade and it was the perfect spookiness/scary but not too scary for that age (back in 1990 anyway).
I just googled it and would say watch the previews to see if this would be ok for your kids. It was filmed in 1980.

OMG Watcher in the Woods!!! We watched this a million times in the 80’s at like every fall birthday party/sleepover!! I totally forgot about it!
I remember loving the Adventures of Icabod Crane and Mr. Toad. I think it may have freaked me out a bit, but I haven't seen it in years. I may have to find that one, I think it is on Disney or Amazon.

I watched that movie as a 7 year old and it was so scary. I was the youngest sibling so I watched a lot of movies that weren't age appropriate.
I just watched Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I appreciate it a little more as an adult with kids. I love how they have no idea how to make plans and serve toast and popcorn.
