So I prepaid 6 session of Laser Hair Removal for my underarms. It has worked extremely well and after 2 sessions it's pretty much gone. My girl thinks after session 3 I'll be done. She said that they can either refund me the last 3 sessions, or apply to another area. I wasn't thinking about doing another body part so soon, but now that I'll have a big chunk towards the cost, I'm thinking about going that route instead of a refund. I just can't decide if I want to do my legs or bikini area. If you've had one or the other done, can you tell me about it and if you were happy with it? I would only need from the knees down on my legs if I went that route, and also, I'm kind of terrified of a laser in my bikini area. Help me decide!

I'd prioritize bikini as it's more likely to turn gray and then laser is ineffective. For me, I couldn't shave my bikini line without razor burns and possibly ingrown hairs, something I had not issue with on my legs. My bikini line took six sessions and I'm considering a touchup one now that it's been a year.

How long are the sessions good for? Because you have to do maintenance every few years to keep the results. If they are good forever and you think the place will stay in business, I'd consider just holding on to them if you aren't eager to do another area.
I had my bikini area done and I didn't think it was any more painful than under arms. I had my upper lip done and that was worse than any part of my bikini area. I didn't go back though for maintenance and 15+ years later the bush is back to pre-laser treatment days.
For me the bikini line is more difficult to maintain with shaving/waxing so I'd do that. I did like 3 sessions on my bikini line when my kids were young and while I wasn't completely smooth, I had very minimal hair for several years, even without completing the series.
I think everyone is a little different in terms of pain and efficacy. I've had sessions on my underarms, "bikini" (basically full Brazilian) and upper lip.
Like you, my underarms responded really well and there was virtually no pain.
Upper lip was extremely painful for me. I can't remember how many sessions I had but it wasn't super effective. I think the hair was just too fine.
Brazilian was also painful for me, and some areas responded well and some were really resistant.
I've actually had a lot of success with the Ulike Air product you can use at home. amzn.to/3Yre6PC Many years ago I had tried the Tria home laser with little success, so I was pretty skeptical. But it worked super well for me! I still have some stubborn areas, but I can go weeks without shaving my legs now -- before it was like a couple of days. My arm hair is totally gone, and I had hair on my neck that bothered me when I wore my hair up, and that's also totally gone.
I've had my neck, chin, and upper lip done. Unfortunately, not until I was in my late 40's so I had some white/gray hairs. I agree that you should do whatever area you want done fastest before you start going gray!
