My friends gave me the sweetest gift of a facial gift card for my birthday. I contacted the provider and said what do you recommend for fine lines, uneven skin tone…she said a dermaplaning facial. agreed (assume she didn’t want to do one of her chemical peel facials or more technical facials without knowing my skin). But I have to be honest that I don’t love it. I don’t really wear regular face makeup so I’m not worrying about smooth application. I know the peach fuzz doesn’t grow back thicker or coarser, but my hair dresser was telling me she wasn’t crazy about how it feels growing back in: anyone else have thoughts?

I really like dermaplaning because it does feel like my skincare soaks in really nicely after I have it done. That said, blowdrying my hair after dermaplaning is the most odd sensation without the peach fuzz on your face. I don't even know how to explain it, but it feels very weird when the air from the blowdryer crosses your face. lol Other than that, I never noticed any feeling at all while it grows back.

I love a dermaplaning facial. My skin always looks so smooth for a good while after. I don't notice anything weird when the peach fuzz grows back, it happens so gradually. Like glitzy07 said, skincare soaks in better so I feel like my skin looks nice and plump and glowy. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis either, but if I do have a big event where I'm planning to wear makeup, scheduling dermaplaning before makes my makeup look flawless.

Thoughts about what? Just our own experience/opinion of dermaplaning?

I did it once and I agree it's weird when it grows back in. Also it's sooooo exfoliating that I felt like my skin was excessively shiny for a few days. I shower in the evening and now put on face wash, shave my face with the same razor I shave my legs, and then rinse off my face wash so I get the benefits of the smooth skin (but not too smooth like a dermaplane) without the stubble.
I have done hydrafacial/dermaplane combined and really liked it. I didn't experience anything weird with hair regrowth. I also felt like my skincare and makeup went on better after.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
