Dear mom,

I have come to grips with your narcissistic tendencies and your obsessiveness when you get fixated on something. But when you allow your obsessiveness to cloud your judgment to be scammed into paying a crook $1000 I've had it. It took contacting both brothers while I'm trying to work. My SIL and Ds did about a 1 minute Google search and found out this was scam. Thankfully after sending you screenshot, you were able to stop the transaction. It's pretty bad when your grandson in the army has to text you to stop. Unfortunately this is not new since you have been bankrupt a couple of times, borrowed from family more than I can count. At least you know better than to ask me, because it's not happening. I have saved and worked along with Dh my entire adult life to save for college, build up a retirement nest egg not to land in this mess, and all extras will go towards helping my kids move forward, nor for someone who lives in some land who thinks rules don't apply.

PS. Remember all the times you called me fat and lazy and said you couldn't wait till I was an adult because you would come to my house and laugh because I suppose my life would be a disaster. Who's funny now.

Dear Beau,

I'm not sure why I'm so excited for this weekend, but I am very excited to just jump in the car and drive. We have a vague plan of where we're going to check out two new ORV parks but other than that, a no plans weekend is what I need. We won't have the trailer, so we can stop anywhere without worrying about parking. We won't have the bikes, so we don't have to worry about them getting stolen from the back of the truck if we want to stop.

Dear elderly lady driver,

It certainly was a shock this morning when I heard that you hit our building. Luckily you were going slow and didn't cause a lot of damage, but the drama- police, fire, everything! This morning was more dramatic than I needed.

Dear employee who lives in denial,

I've coached you at least 5 times on communication style, and it is ironic to me when I see it get you in trouble in the non work world. Don't send angry texts because certain organizations will share them publicly. There was zero reason that they would have information about you unless you shared it with them. Since it is not work related, I will keep my thoughts to myself, but this is exactly what we talked about multiple times. This organization is also known for sharing texts on public forums, threatening people with "the police" and their own aggressive communication style.

Why did you schedule your private lesson at 2:45? It is a rush to get you to the gym by 3. To get there by 2:45 you have to change in the car and eat as I drive. I know you wanted the lesson and had to fit it in with when the coach is free but jeez its a good thing it isn't tax season.

waverly, I had no idea how many buildings were driven into until I met Beau. Being in the commercial window and door business, he gets calls all the time for quotes to fix business storefronts that were hit by a car.

supertrooper1 , Luckily she only scratched our brick as opposed to driving through. We had a kids event at that time too, and they barely heard anything. Someone came in and told me, and I was in shock thinking they were making it up or something because we didn't hear anything. It is a large building and was at the other end. My boss was outside with maintenance at the time, and I think the police were here in 3 minutes. They were here before anyone on the inside even found out about it.

waverly, I was working the election polls when an elderly lady hit the side of our building. Somehow I was the only one with enough sense to go to the police station next door to let them know what happened and then went to the car and put pressure on the elderly passenger's head who had a nasty laceration until the ambulance got there. And yes, that lady still was able to vote with my assistance!

DH did the first part of what he has to do to clean up his mess. I’m… still not handling it well. He’s coming home tomorrow, and I’m drinking and eating a ton of junk tonight. I’m surprised at my reaction.

Thank you all for your support. I truly appreciate it. No one really knows IRL, and those that do… I don’t want to talk to them about it.

Why in the hell are you having a seating chart for lunch for 8th graders? DD reported that here has been no bad behavior at lunch. If this is your idea of adding to the idiotic "What I Need" mental health class you guys have lost your minds. The only time my kid can see or talk to her friend is at lunch because she has ZERO classes with her.

mommyatty , DD complained to the counselor and the principal yesterday about the lunch seating chart. I'm very interested if it disappeared today. She told them she would rather eat alone than be forced to sit next to someone who makes her uncomfortable. The funny thing is as DD has been having issues at lunch and has just chosen to eat alone because she said she would rather eat alone than be told "you can sit with us if you have to".

Mommyatty, your DD issue is burn it down. I guess having PRIDE club at your school during school hours wouldn't fly. DD's school has it on a weekly basis during lunch.  Texas vs Oregon

Ugh what is it with these ages and bullying. We just had an incident with a kid bullying DS for his hearing aids. Generally, this also concides with the kid trying to get DS off the lunch table. DS has a good group of lunch friends that has been fairly stable.

This happened in 6th grade also, a whole other group of kids were trying to take over the lunch table, so they tried to kick kids off his group. 7th grade was fine. Now in 8th grade, the other kid is at his lunch table, but trying to elbow and nudge him out of his exact seat, tripped him, and then something happened in a class they had together also. The teacher moved their seats.

Our administration is absolutely fantastic though, and the VP comes down on them hard, calls the parents, provides consequences etc.

Dh thought raising turkeys would be a good hobby for the kids during COVID. They are literally the dumbest animals. Like very small, very low IQ dinosaurs.

rere the wild turkeys around here are massive, stupid, and (especially during mating season) mean. They have been destroying all of the lawns in my neighborhood looking for grubs. They cause ridiculous traffic jams because like 10 of them will just stand in the street… and some will actually attack cars - peck at cars and tires - while their brethren block traffic.

I hate them.

Turkeys are so dumb they will literally drown in rainstorms because they stare up in wonder with their mouths open that water is falling down on them. That’s one of my favorite worthless animal facts.
