I think it must be for the folks who want to do VIP but not pay as much. I honestly don’t know how it is worth that much - you can only go on each ride once.
Things like this remind me there are a lot more rich people than I realize. I can’t quite figure out who the target audience is, people doing a once in a lifetime trip because their kids want to go but they don’t ever want to go again? Couples?

No, but we go all the time so we never even pay for Genie +.
I guess they are targeting the same people who shell out $700/hr for VIP tours, families with limited time, etc.
When paid Genie + debuted there was a lot of chatter of people wanting a more expensive, but valid on every attraction option, similar to Universal Express Pass. So I don't doubt there will be people who pay for this.
On my own, if I were a single rich person going with a rich friend and we both wanted to do it to make the most of our day? Maybe. For my family of six? That would be $2400 extra. So no way.
It's insane. If it were a "ride everything you want as many times as you want" I'd understand the cost more, but for every ride 1x and only in 1 park per day....it's a bit extreme.
No way. Will they keep the existing multi-pass and then offer this on top of it? I'm fine doing the normal multi-pass, I'm not one of the ones complaining about having to schedule rides, I'll do all the scheduling 🤣

I did just buy a similar pass for Universal, which was ~$250pp. BUT -- we will only ever go this one time. We have only one day, and I think it added only $300 total to our day. Seemed worth it to me.

Can you please explain this math to me?
I'd have to go back and look but I think our regular tickets were going to cost $150 each.

At universal if you stay at a deluxe resort they give you this pass included, no extra charge.
At slow points of the year a deluxe room can be around $350-400 a night. For the three of us that's a steal.
No, I don't think we'll return to disney until they figure this ish out. Just go back to what was before, it was fine and easy.
I do love staying at a Universal Resort that gives you express pass. I think we more than get our money out of that one because we can go on rides more once. Will be interesting to see how Epic plays out.
I'm glad they limit it to once per ride. That may make it appealing to only a small number of people, but it means those people aren't affecting the line wait times for everyone else as much.
