Finally yeeted my tubes and tacked on an ablation so I will hopefully be period free as well (turrible bleeding and cramps). Anybody got any recovery stories to share?

Yay for yeeting the parts that are being assholes!
I felt like HELL for 24 hours after my ablation. But then was fine the next day.
Unfortunately, ablation didn’t work and I had a hysterectomy and tube removal a year later. Best thing ever. A++. Would make the same choice over and over again.
Congrats to you! I had an ablation 5 years ago (cannot believe it’s been that long!). I went out to lunch the next day, but was still tired and slightly queasy from the anesthesia. After that, it was smooth sailing!
They weren’t joking about the amount of discharge during healing, though…I had a lot of clear/pale yellow watery discharge for a few weeks, and for a couple months I’d have mild brown/light red spotting during and after workouts. Once that stopped I never had a period again. Every so often I’ll get 2-3 days of pink spotting (only shows up when using the restroom, and never need anything more than a pantyliner). But yeah, basically once the healing was done, I haven’t had any bleeding since. I hope you have amazing results…mine was life changing!
I tell everyone to get an ablation. I am not period free, I have a day of spotting each month but it’s still been LIFE CHANGING for me. My recovery was easy peasy but I didn’t have a tubal with it.

I had my tubes removed a year ago. The gas pain was no joke - shoulder, abdomen. A week after I still felt it! I was also surprised at how long my abdomen was sore for, but my doctor said my bruising was worse than most she's seen, so that could be why. About 10 days after, I was feeling much better.
My tubal was combined with a c-section, so can’t really say that was like its, but the ablation was only bad the day of. I was fine the next and haven’t had a period since. It’s been 6-7 years I think? Maybe longer, but it’s been amazing!
I did it. I was having horrible heavy bleeding. It’s been awesome. I had a shit reaction to anesthesia so it took me a couple of days to feel good, but that was because of the anesthesia. I didn’t even need pain meds beyond Aleve.
I still have a day a month most months where I have a super light period (like I never need more than a panty liner) but I’ll take it!

Be prepared for yellowish discharge for…. A long time. Weeks. My dr didn’t really explain that
I am one of the rare people that still gets periods each month. But they are light and 2-4 days instead of 8-9 heavy heavy heavy days. Totally worth it!
