Yesterday, someone brought in a bag of Halloween candy, and there were some Reese’s Take 5. I haven’t seen those in so long and forgot how much I liked them.

But my husband made the mistake of buying the Reese’s pumpkins at Costco and they might not see Halloween 😭

Almond Joys, Snickers, Kit-Kat; really any chocolate candy

I'm really not much of a fruity/candy person; can mostly take it or leave it, but surprisingly I found I LOVE the Nerds gummy clusters, of all things! Or Starbursts.

Yep. As I’ve gotten older I like the fruity stuff more and Nerds clusters are the bomb. Pumpkins are my childhood fave though and I have to eat one a year for nostalgia.

Reece's Peanut Butter Cups will always be my favorite. Runners Up would be Snickers, PayDay and Butterfinger.

I don't really like non-chocolate candy, but I will house a bag of Candy Corn which is precisely why I haven't bought any this season.

A-list - Reese’s, always. One year I did a no sugar detox for two weeks that happened to fall over Halloween. I saved myself one Reese’s to eat after I was done, and after two weeks with no sugar, it tasted awful. I was so sad. Fortunately by Christmas they were delicious again, lol.

B-list - Almond Joy. Do kids even like those? We generally don’t hand those out, but if we have a bag that includes them, DH and I will eat them ourselves. I also love Mounds but also don’t hand those out.

Fruity - I’m so chocolate biased that I can’t even think of a fruity candy that could rival the other two. If there are Twizzlers in a mix I’ll have one or two, but for the most part, I could take or leave fruity candy. I can think of more fruity candies that I actively dislike - skittles, anything sour, most things gummy.

I love Baby Ruth. I used to raid David's trick-or-treat bag when he was little for them (with his permission).

I LOVE those flavored tootsie rolls everyone hates- orange and vanilla are my favorite.

Chocolate: Reece's pieces or cups, but I love most things chocolate. I don't understand the love for snickers or twix though.

Take 5s are my favorite candy.

I really like the mini Starbursts "reds and pinks" only bag and I have taken a liking to Nerds clusters.

Question for the Nerds clusters lovers: Have you had a Nerds rope? It's like a gummy rope with Nerds stuck onto it. Seems like the rope-version of the clusters; is that accurate?

I was just told today that all Skittles are the same flavor. I swear I can taste different flavors but apparently it's my brain making it up.

I was told a lie. This is from the Skittles website (red package): Flavors include strawberry, lime, grape, lemon and orange.

I do like the peanut candies (Snickers etc), but we don't get them due to my kid's allergy.

But I am a sucker for caramel and chocolate. I got 100 Grand & Twix, plus Kit Kats for H.

My kids have terrible taste in candy. Dum dums, tootsie rolls, Double Bubble, Twizzlers. Blech. The fruity tootsie rolls are delish, though.
