I've made these the last 3 Sundays for easy breakfast/snacks. I use a loaf of cinnamon bread and they are excellent. Good cold, or good warmed up with syrup.
Sunday: Roast cabbage topped with chopped & browned kielbasa, rye croutons and a warm mustard vinaigrette (from one of the Smitten Kitchen cookbooks) Monday: popcorn (going to see The Shining) Tuesday: Orecchiette with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe Wednesday: ground beef tacos Thursday: pork chops, green beans, stuffing Friday: steak and roast broccoli
I've been better about planning other meals too lately.
Breakfast this week is rye toast with cream cheese, cucumber, tomatoes and capers. There was supposed to be lox too but I somehow forgot to order it.
Lunch is a white bean, tuna, arugula, and pepperoncini salad
We have three nights of hello fresh meals, but I need to figure out dinner on Halloween. I usually do chili or just grilled cheese or similarly easy.
But DD invited a friend over so I feel like I need to do something more. Also it's supposed to be 80 degrees so not really chili weather. Maybe we'll grill?
