We had such fun AE and came out to play with silly names & characters.  I still remember all the headstones of the GOP nominees who had dropped out... that must have been like 2011??

I do remember.  There were some funny ones.  I lurked, because I’m not as funny as many were.  Did it stop because some posters got nasty to others?

I think it ended, however, because stuff got not-so-nice and it drove some folks (namely POC posters) off the boards.

At the time I either couldn't participate because of huge time zone differences or I was in night shifts.

I thought it stopped when we moved over here or maybe that's what ended the offend offs. Also with twice a year cousins it sort of got stake.

I'll never forget long dong sober at a time when it was merely mocking his nastiness vs lamenting his corruption and control of the court.

I know I participated at least once, but I can't remember my own costume at all. It must not have been very good.

Bob Costa's Pink Eye was amazing. it's always sad when fun things go down the tubes because people can't act right.

Are you on the desktop or mobile? On the desktop I just click the little guys at the bottom right and it can switch me to all the aliases I've ever created, which include halloween aliases.

Of course, that means Pixy and other moderators can probably see whose aliases belong to whom, but i never worried about what I was typing as an alias being tied to me as my regular self. I also put my foot in my mouth a lot as just me so there's that...
