Still listening to the Hexologists. Audiobooks are SO slow compared to reading them myself. I've had to renew this twice now.
The Daughter's War, Christopher Buehlman - Prequel to a book a read a bit ago. Brutal war centered fantasy. Really love the characters here, and I thought certain quirks of the story telling (it's told as the main character telling a story to the reader after the fact) were very well done.
A Psalm for the Wild-Built - so wistfully beautiful and whimsical, but also very....like, real? the voice just feels like a real actual person. It's such a lovely gentle world, but also a little sad.
QOTW - I can walk to my polling place, so I'll do that first thing in the AM before heading out for work on the big day.
I finished Starling House, which did not work for me — the pacing felt way off and I really hated the footnotes. Now reading Michael Connelly’s newest, The Waiting, which is definitely moving much faster.
QOTW: My polling place is also walking distance, so I’ll go Tuesday. I had hoped to make it to early voting this week, but that didn’t happen — it’s not a super convenient location, especially compared to waking a couple of neighborhood blocks.
I'm listening to Between the World and Me. It's a hard one to absorb listening to it, so I haven't been drawn to it.
I'm reading/listening to the Fall of Giants. That one I added the audio earlier this week to get through it faster. 20 minutes before bed was t cutting it!
QOTW: We have a very long ballot this year in CO. I usually read through it waiting for ToTers and made some good progress last night, but still need to get through the local stuff and judges.
I've been reading Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. It's good but not great and it's not really motivating me to pick it up in the evening.
QOTW: I early voted Monday. I like going day of but it's harder for MH so we went together since we were both off. I saved my sticker for Tuesday though.

Finished Cursed and For The Wolf. They were fine. They both had some really great moments and some plot flaws.
Started Good Fortune, which is a modern P&P retelling that takes place in Chinatown in NYC.
QOTW: Have you voted yet, if you are US based? This is a very fitting question because I dropped off my ballot when I went to the library to return my books last month.
