I had 2 aging questions, and I can only remember 1 now because I am getting old. If I remember the other one I will add it.
What is everyone doing about the lines around the mouth? I wasn't sure if Botox was more for the forehead and I wasn't sure about Botox anyway. Anything else that people are doing?
I can't use retinol because of minor rosacea. It isn't recommended for me.
I’m letting it roll, baby! I’ve earned these wrinkles and at 57 I’ve earned the right to not give a shit.
Mine are mostly around the eyes but this. I apply some random L’Oréal cream after I wash my face but that’s mostly just because I think I should. I do nothing else.
I'm in Southern CA - wrinkles do not seem to exist here There definitely seems to be a lot of intervention. So far I do botox for my upper face (forehead/crow's feet) but haven't done anything about the lower half. I think that's a filler situation for the future.
I'm 43. My youngest kid is only 4 and I'm sometimes on camera professionally, so I plan to continue to take some steps to help with face aging. But I do not want to end up with a face full of filler, so I'm trying to prolong doing that. If you're considering it, it couldn't hurt to find a cosmetic doctor that is recommended locally and just have a consult.
Botox is for the eyes and up, filler is for the lower face. I'm steering clear of filler, personally. I'd focus on skincare and sunscreen if you're not already.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
I don’t know anything about filler or know my thoughts on it.
I think those only work on your forehead (I've read they do work really good, but don't last long). I'd do A LOT of research on filler before going that route.
You can do fillers JUST to smooth out those wrinkles, without looking like you've got duck lips. Otherwise, I use retinol but my wrinkles seem to be getting the best of me.
