I have a 38" wide space between two doors and it has been empty since we remodeled in 2017. I just haven't found anything that jumped out at me. I was looking through my friend's insta pics from Halloween and this painting was hanging in the background and I fell in love. It was easy enough to find via google. The colors are perfect for our house (these are the exact colors I have accented with) and we do love champagne. But I'm not sure how I feel about having a "brand" on my wall. But I really really love it; I think it's so fun.
Thoughts? It's not cheap. The wall is 38" wide. If I do go for it, do I get 24x36 or 30x45? (I'd lay it out with painter's tape before I purchase. Just crowd-sourcing) I would do a gold frame.
I will say, I haven't prioritized looking at all. This just grabbed my attention and I thought it would be perfect for the space.

It's bright and fun! If you immediately liked it I say go for it. I tend to like a piece to fill a wall nicely so I'd probably go for the larger size, but that's just my preference. I think laying it out with tape first will help you decide.
In my opinion art is about what speaks to YOU and what you love (and being appropriately sized for the space!) What is hanging on your walls should make you happy every time you see it. It seems like this brings you joy - go for it!

If you like it, that is all that matters. I tend to have very eclectic taste which I know doesn't jive with everyone, but everything that I do in regards to decor and art in my own house makes me happy. Without actually seeing the space, it's hard to comment on what size you should get, so I think that your idea to tape it out is a good one.
This is the exact piece of art hanging in your friend’s home? Or is it something from the same artist with a similar feel/color palette?
Art is so personal. I guess I’d feel a little weird if a friend or acquaintance put up the exact same thing -especially such a big piece- after seeing a photo my home.

totally exact but idk who this person is. She is a friend of a friend who lives in another city as me; we'll never cross paths. (otherwise I totally get what you're saying.) It was in the background of a picture she posted and I gasped. I think I have to have it.

I agree - if you feel like you “have to have it” then go for it! Also, fwiw, from your post, I expected to see some huge brand name, but it’s totally subtle, truly just a part of a bottle label.
