Is your peachfuzz stubbly as it grows back? (I know it doesn’t grow back thicker.) But once it’s shaved I’m worried it will be more noticeable as it starts to grow back.
Or is light peachfuzz just not stubbly, even after shaving and re-growth? I’m hesitant to start doing this if I’m going to get stuck in a cycle of stubble. Like if it will look worse as it starts growing back than it did before I ever started - then I might rethink this.
jlt19 I did a quick search and it looks like you might have said you have the issue I’m talking about? The stubble shows up more than before you started?
It truly just grows back as peach fuzz. I shave every three months or so, and facial creams/serums and makeup go on smoother. I like the hair-free look. It's truly low maintenance since I don't do it often.
greenlight and wambam I think in my search I saw you both mention it grows back in rough for you? Which is what I’m afraid of, and makes sense - since the hair is getting chopped, so the end is now thick and blunt as it grows out…
It’s definitely not stubble. I also rotate in a lot of chin and neck plucking. That lasts a good long while. Shaving ends up being only once in a while.
No, it is the same texture. The peach fuzz areas stay peachy fuzzy. But I have a few dark, strong strands around my upper lip. I usually pluck those. They come back the same if I dermaplane them.

I shaved my stache for awhile in college and it grew back very stubbly, but not thicker or rougher. I’ve waxed for the last 15 years and never had that problem.

Above my lip doesn’t feel like stubble but it’s very noticeable to me where it didn’t used to be. Could definitely be aging and paying more attention to my skincare as well as wearing less makeup (that maybe covered it up?). It’s blonde so not visible unless close up, but I feel like it radiates light and it annoys me.
