Holiday card wording help? - update in comments

I want to put a word (or 2?) inside this wreath I painted to be our holiday card. I don’t want to say “happy holidays” because things feel like a dumpster fire, but writing “FUCK” doesn’t seem appropriate either when this goes to families with small children and elder relatives.

Maybe HOPE? PEACE? That’s what I wish for, anyway.

I prefer "peace". I think a lot of people are struggling with hope right now.

That is very pretty. “Peace” feels perfect for that, but I love the subtle middle finger of putting “Hope” in there.

Maybe. I’m probably going to try and see if someone in my neighborhood does lettering or calligraphy.

And this was mad easy, it’s literally the 5th thing I’ve ever painted 🤣

That’s really pretty, and I think either peace or hope would both be good. As a recipient, I’d appreciate receiving hope because I currently have very little.

This was the quickest of quick google searches : This rebel-Jesus targeted the Pharisees and Sadducees because they were the men with power, the gatekeepers. He thumbed his nose at the priests and politicians. Most of all, rebel-Jesus broke the rules.

Am I out of line to point out that “Peace” means to a significant portion of the electorate shoving people into the closet, women into the kitchen, asylum seekers into detention centers, and the inhalation of perceived enemies to achieve it?

I don’t think that matters. I still want my friends to have peace, joy, love, etc and tell them that, especially recently. It’s not like she’s sending these cards to people she hates and are known assholes. (I’m making assumptions based on "knowing" TR for years assuming she’s not sending these cards to hateful people).
