Friday: Off Sat.: CX races-6th place Category 3, 2nd place Single Speed and tons of walking around Sunday: CX Race-5th place Category 3 (no Single Speed)

Fri: 4 mile walk Sat: 3 mile run, 30 min strength, 2 mile walk Sun: 60 HIIT workout, lots of walking around the mall while looking for some new sweaters
It’s been many weeks since I’ve gotten in some weekend workouts. It feels good to be back at it.
I’m really struggling to get back on the wagon post-marathon. Between walking the dog 3x a day and commuting via foot I’m fairly active anyway, but I need to get it together. Before marathon training I was doing a lot of strength training so I’m planning to get back into those classes this week.
Fri: tried to do a 3 miler, wasn't feeling it, cut it short. 1.8 mile. I donated blood on Wed., so maybe that was part of it? IDK. Sat: nope Sun: took my DS out riding his bike which forced me to run. 2.5 miles of highly variable pace. Enjoyed being outside with my kiddo.
I had a good first week back to running post-marathon but everything is feeling pretty creaky in this 2nd week. I'm trying to give grace and keep it light.
