Amazon is running a targeted offered for Amex users: 50% off an order up to $160 when you use Amex rewards points. You only have to use points for a portion of your order -- I used $1 worth of points and it worked for me.

I got the AirPods Pro 2 -- they're on sale for $159.99, got them for $80!

Based on the error message I got, I think the type of Amex card I have isn't eligible.

Oh it says allow 24hrs if you recently enrolled your card.

My card has been enrolled for a while with Amazon Amex points. We use it once a month. It still says I'm not eligible. So confused!

I have the Delta Skymiles Amex and it seems that's not eligible

Mine originally said I wasn't eligible and then I relinked in my card and (like mofongo said) waited a day and then it worked for me. I have the Platinum card.

I wonder if it's how much you spend on your Amex? We only use that one for centurion lounge and certain other travel perks.

Funny, I suggested a deal like this before (last year? 2 years ago?) that was for DISCOVER rewards and same thing...a lot of people couldn't do it. I think maybe they just offer these deals to certain people!

Yes, thank you so much! The price increased a bit for when my offer worked, but I was able to get the AirPods Pro 2 for $90 for DD. She uses her AirPods so much and I think she has the bare minimum model as of right now . She will be thrilled

That’s what I bought, too, and also coming from the original version. I’ve never had noise cancellation and had no idea what they were like — it’s incredible!

I also did the hearing test and my hearing is fine despite what my H says lol

So glad it worked out well for you guys!

Thanks! I got them too. I’ve been trying not to shop on Amazon much lately but my business CC is Amex, I use my AirPods for work calls all the time and the mic on one of them stopped working recently.
