I have a pair of their Weekend sneakers in a lovely light blue color. They really are waterpoof! And yet I never wear them because they get dirty so easily. Usually if it's rainy there is also mud (or at least dirty puddles), and being worried about splashes defeats the entire purpose of a waterproof shoe. Also because the laces are just for show, they fit a bit loose and sloppy over the top of my foot. If you have a high arch, this may be less of an issue.

I got the Soho in white on a sale that was no returns. I don't really like them. They're very stiff and the white got dirty almost immediately and is not easy to clean.

Thank you both! Are they machine washable? I guess I kind of figured if they were water resistant that I could just toss them in the wash if they got dirty.

Some models are. The Soho wasn't one of them. I've got my eye on some of Vivaia instead, though they might have the same problem with getting dirty because of the way the material is woven.

I haven’t heard of that brand before but I will check it out! Now im wondering if I should lean towards the waterproof (resistant) Kiziks instead. Hmm
I love my Vessis. I have a dark blue colour so less dirt shows - can't even remember which model because they have lasted at least 3 years. The tread is only now starting to wear out. They are great and yes, waterproof. I wear them around the city though I would not wear them hiking because they don't have ankle support. But it rains a lot where I live so worth it for a city shoe.

Here are the cleaning instructions for the Weekend: "To clean, we recommend hand washing. Let them air dry. To machine wash, use a cold setting and remove the insoles first. We recommend removing the laces and placing the shoes in a washing net for best results. Don’t use bleach, and air dry only."
I honestly haven't tried machine wash, because I have an he top loader and I don't really see how sitting on top of a wash plate will get shoes clean. Hand washing didn't work - dirt gets embedded deep in the knit material even using a toothbrush didn't get it out.
