I also have no idea what day it is. Midweek holidays are way too confusing!
I finished Grown Women by Sarai Johnson, which was very good but felt like it needed to wrap up a little sooner. I’m about 2/3 through The Wide Wide Sea by Hampton Sides, which is excellent nonfiction but has a more historical, less narrative style than I prefer.
QOTW: the fourth Nevermoor book, finally! Publication was pushed back several times, but we finally actually get it this year.
Swordheart - loved A Queen's Game by Katharine McGee- meh. Her style doesn't really work with historical figures Throne of Jade by Naomi Novik - I continue to enjoy this series
QOTW: Really looking forward to: Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix (10 days!) Holy Terrors by Margaret Owen (third in a series) Bury our Bones in the Midnight Soil by VE Schwab Hemlock and Silver by T. Kingfisher
Will also hate read the next Fourth Wing installment at some point.
Finished the second Bridge Kingdom book by Danielle Jensen and loved it! Definitely recommend if you like fantasy and/or romance.
QOTW: Onyx Storm (Fourth Wing #3), Say You'll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez, Kingdom of Claw (Road of Bones #2), The Primal of Blood and Bone (next Blood and Ash book), A Curse Carved in Bone (next A Fate Inked in Blood book), Rebel Witch (Heartless Hunter sequel).. and I'm sure there's more!

Finished Mom Com and Eight Nights to Win Her Heart. Both were cute.
Started reading Done in the Dark and I've got a real problem. Apparently the author used to work at my company so my work book club picked this book so she can come to the book club and speak to us about it. It's awful. Really bad. Not sure what I'm going to do - maybe skip bookclub?
The other two books I'm reading right now are so much better. I'm listening to Unbound - which bills itself as a Beauty and the Beast retelling - and it is, the main character is about princess cursed to turn into a beast. But it's really chock full of Irish mythology, both stories and monsters and I'm loving it.
I'm reading By the Book, another Beauty and the Beast retelling with an editorial assistant helping a surly actor write his memoir. I'm enjoying it much more than I thought I would.
QOTW: What new releases are you looking forward to this year? Looking forward to The Ashfire King (which I've been waiting for years to read) and Beg Borrow or Steal.
