I've only spent like $250 (just added it up). My VIB renewed last month. Maybe they threw me a bone this year, since I made VIB like 4 times over last year?

I'm not sure what I'm getting, but I just added up my purchases for the year and I'm at $725 just at Sephora, yikes! I don't even want to add up all my other make-up addictions that don't get me points or VIB's.
Funny, this is a drugstore purchase here, not Sephora. I'll have to see if that means it's cheaper than in the US (not always so).
I have 4 days left to make my FF purchase. Keep the ideas coming! So far I feel like my list is lame: one fancy hair oil that doesn't look like it's available in the US (Leonor Greyl) and some sparkly Sephora-brand eye shadow.
VIB what what!!!! I was just about to stop, but realized maybe this is the perfect time to buy a few more amazonian clay blushes to finish out my collection. Lol
apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
Now that I have had more time to think...my list is
Sephora pro blush brush Sephora cream lip stain, in the nude mauve color
I am going to keep it at that unless SO needs more Jack Black shaving stuff
Tell me about the lipstain?
I thought that blush brush was really dense, I couldn't quite use it. But I really like the 55 (its a big powder brush - but the the hugely big one - also can be used for liquid foundation).
I bought the 55 brush yesterday! The rep recommended it Fluder...I have never heard of that brand! already have dollface and amused from Tarte and don't need anymore pinks. I really want something more rosy, like my illuminating bronzer from BB. I look great in those colors, and the pinks too.
The sephora stain is a new purchase for me...I love stains over lip sticks...then I can re apply chapstick all day long without worry. I have so many it is ridiculous...in general and different brands
I should try it - I can't remember to reapply stuff if my life depends on it. I really to set an alarm or something lol.
That's seriously my most used brush. It's great!
Yeah, sounds like you're covered on pink blushes (though I have more than I care to admit); I'm considering Sunday Riley blushing which seems to be a peach/nude and SR Intimate for a sort of like nars orgasm (despite, you know, having that one...).
Fluder - do you like the Sephora Prof. concealer brush? Or is that a waste of $$$ too? I would need something for spot concealing, not for under eyes.
Yes, I like that! Its pretty big though, I do use it under eye, but if you were say, covering a pimple, I think it might be too large? On the other hand, for redness around the nose, it'd be fine. Its really soft.
hmmm...yea, I need something for breakouts. I have a crappy ELF eyeshadow brush I use right now...small enough to get in there. I have a bigger one for under eyes from BM...I rarely use it though.
I may just pass on brushes for this sale. I will get a Sephora gift card for the holidays (always do) if I change my mind.
I'd consider #28 then, its a pro brush for cream eyeshadow. It's smaller; dense but really soft.
Any updates on whether this thing is actually happening as speculated?
(If not, no biggie -- between spalook and skinstore and dermstore and beauty.com it isn't hard to get 20% off a lot of the stuff that Sephora carries year-round)
I would be shocked if their wasn't some kind of VIB sale later. But I'm sad about FF because I have a cart full of stuff I want to buy!
Particularly if it is skin stuff, could you find it at spalook or dermstore or skinstore? They have 15 or 20% off codes all the time, and they sell a lot of the brands that Sephora sells.
I'm surprised, but it seems to be a no-go. If I weren't so lazy I'd go in and ask for a code (they've given me them before in store; it doesn't hurt to ask). Guess I'll wait for the VIB one (good thing I wasn't dying for anything).
Still in denial the website to generate codes will leak out like it did last year....

It's eyeshadow, mascara, and hair stuff. Nothing I need right now or I would go elsewhere.
But out of those stores, which do you like the best?

Jumping in - I've done skinstore and derm store - I tend to buy more from skinstore (more frequent 20% offs), but derm store has fast shipping now.

I agree with this. I buy from wherever has the better code/ebates combo at the time, which is usually skinstore.
But... and this is a big but... Dermstore has a great offer going on now that can be used to great advantage. If you spend $25 or more, you get a free subscription to Women's Health that they value at $10. If you spend $50 or more, you get Women's Health + Self (worth another $10). If you spend $80 or more, you get Lucky too (another $10). BUT, if you don't want these, you can fill out a rebate form and get a rebate for those amounts instead (which means that with a $25 order, you'll get $10 back; with $50, you'll get $20 back; and with $80 you'll get $30 back). Particularly because this can be combined with 10% off codes (which can be found at retaimenot.com) 7.5% from ebates, and free shipping, it can add up to WAY more than 20% off, depending on the amount of your order.
For instance, if you need a few things that come to $90, they would be $81 after a 10% off code, and you'd get $30 back as a rebate and roughly $6 back from ebates, bringing you to a total of just about $45 or 50% off.
I ordered my Skinceuticals Phloretin CF last week, and it can NEVER be purchased with a coupon code (from any site, as far as I can tell), but I was able to get a $40 refund (through a now-expired but slightly more lucrative rebate from the one detailed above) and 7.5% back from ebates, which took a lot of the sting out of the price tag.

this is brillant! Where is the rebate form - does it arrive later or is immediate? I've always seen the magazines but I never knew there was a second option. This is great because they carry Clark's botanicals and skinstore doesn't.
