I can't wait any longer. I need something to wear. Any recommendations for good places to go find maternity clothes? I like to try things on before I buy, so I don't really want to order stuff online.
I found a bunch of stuff at Motherhood Maternity. Not too expensive. I also ordered maternity jeans and some gaucho pants from Old Navy, online. I'm not usually a fan of online ordering, but it worked.
I also bought several t-shirts at Wal-Mart that were a size larger than I normally get, to wear around the house. Those were great, and cheap!

I love old navy tanks. Their regular ones non maternity were perfect for the first two trimesters because they are so long and now perfect again post partum. I did need the maternity tanks for third tri.
Gap pants were my favorite for work (still wearing them actually and I have a 3.5 month old!)
I agree with most of the stores already mentioned and would also suggest checking if there is a motherhood outlet near you. I was able to get some really great deal there, like tops and sweaters for $9.99 and jeans and dresses for $15-20 on clearance.

I liked Gap and Ann Taylor Loft (online). Pea in the Pod has great work pants that don't need dry cleaned. I bought some casual summer stuff from motherhood maternity - it was fine for the short time that I wore it, but the quality was pretty low.
There were good answers here. I got my best stuff from Gap clearance rack. I would invest in a couple pairs of good-quality work pants and jeans, because they are what you'll wear the most. You can mix and match less expensive tops and supplement with non-maternity stuff (normal cardi over maternity tee, etc)

I liked some of the Motherhood tops. They were pretty flattering on me. The secret panel jeans were nice for when I first started showing and the last couple of weeks. They are pretty beaten up for as short of a time that I wore them. I wouldn't be able to get a second pregnancy out of them. Old Navy jeans were pretty stiff, but I loved their cords. They also have some with an adjustable waist that look like regular jeans which were great for the beginning and postpartum. I liked Duo maternity shirts at JCP and Liz Lange at Target maternity yoga pants. I bought my jeans at Mimi maternity. They were higher than I would like to pay, but I definitely got my use out of them. They held up very well. I wouldn't buy too much until you figure out what kind of pants you like. I found the full panel the most comfortable, but I know a lot of other people couldn't stand having anything over their belly. I hated the under belly ones.
