Did anyone else read Silber's obituary?

I like how this was obviously written in mid 90's or so and they just threw in some recent crap.

And obviously you can only sugarcoat an obituary so far.

He was. I attended at the tail end of his presidency. Among things I remember was the speech he gave to us, the incoming freshman, where he stated that BU does not tolerate alternative lifestyles. He had been president for 20 years at that point and apparently never noticed who his target audience was.

Jesus. I always heard he was an asshole, but I had no idea.

This would have seriously gotten my college career off on the wrong foot and made me think I picked the wrong school.
