He was almost 10 and throwing up blood. The vet said he had a huge mass in his stomach. This sucks, and its the first loss that my kids have to go through. They are 5 and 7, anyone have any advice about telling them?

I'm so very sorry. No first hand advice as I don't have kids, but my first thought was with honesty, but assurance that yes we will all be sad for a while, but we will never forget and will always love him. There are some good children's books on the market as well, maybe someone will chime in.
