I was too... but I loved it when Amy called Sheldon a sexy praying mantis.. lol
I don't understand what's wrong with Penny and why she's such a commitment phobe with Leonard. Why would she get back together with him if she's still unsure if she loves him?
Yeah, Penny's attitude is getting annoying. I really thought she'd say it too! That was a funny joke, but they can't keep dragging out that relationship with no payout.
Also, how they got Penny and Leonard back together was lame.

Did anyone else feel like the characters were a little different?
Maybe it's been more a gradual change than I realize (I just started watching the show about 6 months ago and I mostly watch old reruns on TBS), but Sheldon's character seemed much too soft to me somehow. I mean, I know he was avoiding alone time with Amy, but I feel like the old Sheldon wouldn't have even known that quoting Spiderman was appropriate then.

I agree that Sheldon seems different lately.
Maybe it's the haircut.
But yeah, season 1 Sheldon wouldn't have realized that what Amy was asking for was a sweet speech like that. And the more I think about it, the more I think that (despite me being all AWWWW when I first watched) it was kind of crappy for him to just feed her a line in order to keep her around.
I wonder if they actually filmed Howard in zero-gravity or if they used harnesses and just edited them out?
No, it was definitely a green screen. You could tell that he was sitting on a chair and kind of waving his arms to simulate zero-G. It was neat though, my H and I had fun trying to figure out how they did those scenes!
