I am back to work today.... if you couldn't tell by my fast response to this post after being pretty MIA the past couple months.
We have a nanny here (I work from home). She got D to nap in the first half hour she was here. I can't even do that sometimes!! She also already changed our sheets and is doing laundry. I think this is going to work out
D is doing good. I think he might be teething??? He is only 3 months but his hands are constantly in his mouth, he is drooling like no other and he has these random meltdowns. I'm not sure?? We don't go back to the Dr. until Nov 2 though. He is still pretty much no where near sleeping through the night. He was on a good 2am and 7am feeding schedule for like 2 weeks. Last night was 11:30, 4 and then starting screaming at 6 so we brought him in bed with us and he went back to sleep until 7:15. I would love for this to change!
Loksa, would you mind sending the nanny over here when she's done at your place today? I've got a couple of loads of laundry and could always use some nice clean sheets. . Really though, being home is nice but working part time is nice too. It's good to get a break. I love being with my girl but I do look forward to my 2 nights at work. Hope it is the same for you.

Well, we are going to be a family of five. Baby #3 will be here in May. I'm either 8 weeks if you go by a standard due date calculator, or what I think is more likely, 6 weeks due to the fact I have longer cycles. I'm guessing they will go by the earlier one and push it back after I have an ultrasound, like they did my 2nd pregnancy. We're so excited to get to do this one more time! We've talked about wanting a third ever since I was pregnant with with Maisy (even though we kept trying to convince ourselves stopping at 2 was probably "for the best") but doubted it would actually happen since I do not get pregnancy easily. I'm feeling alright with just occasional queasiness, and I haven't been hit with the horrible fatigue yet that I had with the other too. So far, this pregnancy is resembling my first (maybe another boy?), but I'm early so it will be interesting to see if that how it stays. I'm just really hoping for a fairly easy pregnancy with no complications due to my age.

I am hoping that is how it goes for me. So far so good, except I am still BFing and I told the nanny that I want her to bring him to me, when he's ready (at least 3 hours). So I go downstairs to get water and there is a bottle missing and I go back up and she is feeding him the bottle 2.5 hours after he ate this morning.... grrrrr!!! So now I have to pump again.
Tasha congratulations!! That is so exciting! I forget how old you are, do you mind if I ask (only because you mentioned it). I really wish I'd started this baby making thing earlier in life. I hate that my days are getting numbered.
Loksa that is frustrating that you have to pump again. But my guess if he's taking the bottle he's hungry, so maybe she didn't want to bother you before 3 hours but didn't want him to be hungry waiting. He's probably growing. It's unbelievable how fast it happens. I hate pumping so I get it. Maybe just tell her that if he needs to eat bring him to you no matter how long it's been.
I thought I had stopped bleeding last Monday, and had five glorious days without seeing blood. It was back again yesterday afternoon, and red. I'm beyond frustrated with this friggin tear.
Anatomy scan on Friday morning. Hoping the sonographer sees that this resdiual bleeding is the tear sealing up. If baby W cooperates, we will not be remaining team green.
Oh - and I made my first nursery "purchase" I saw a room I loved with an abacus from CB2 (my husband is an accountant and we've been joking the baby needs to learn math at an early age). CB2 doesn't make it anymore, but I found a tutorial to make one (my dad is an awesome wood worker). I bought the wood beads online, and will be painting them out next weekend. Yes, I love DIY projects

I am 36. The baby is due around my birthday, so it's very possible that I will be 37 when he or she is born. And I never thought I'd have kids past 35, ha! I just hope I have the energy to keep up with three of them in the years to come!

Ok so we are 3 months apart. I'm not ready for #2 right now so if I ever am I'll be close to 40. My sister was 38 (by 1 day) with her 2nd so I know I can do it, but I'm kinda tired thinking about starting over that late. You'll be my inspiration K?

If we end up trying for a second I will be pushing 37-38, so you're not alone.

I'm 36 too and planning on having my last kid at 37. Like Tasha, I wanted to be done at 35 but I really want a 3rd LO.
Quinn started Little League on Saturday. Actual Little League. He's old. He enjoys it, but he's one of the youngest on the team, so we have a little way to go to get him up to speed. Or at least get him to stop crying on the field when he doesn't get the ball.
I'm leaving for a Girls' Trip to VT on Friday and I'm very much looking forward to it. I've been really stressed about pretty much everything as of late, so hopefully it wil be relaxing and help me get my mind off things.

Congrats Tasha!! Looksa.. Reading your post was like reading my own.. except B is 4 months. But he is not even close to sleeping through the night, constant drooling as of about a week ago, hands in mouth, etc. But he had his 4 month checkup last week and the dr. said she did not see any signs of teeth coming in. I was hoping she did see it because that would explain the sudden sleeping issues. I am trying everything in the book to get him to sleep but so far nothing is working. I just hope I can figure it out before I have to go back to work in a few months.
The girls are learning so much so fast! They pick up on everything (guess I will have to start toning done my vulgarity!) They have added a few words: "Doggies, Shoe,"and "Poppa" (my stepdad.)
Abigail picked up how to "blow her nose." And they are both pretty handy with a toddler fork. Abigail was actually pretending to feed me out of one of her stacking cups yesterday, and kept saying "Yum. MMMMM." everytime she put something in my mouth.
Luis came around on the co-sleeping thing, but now is hell-bent on getting a gun. I don't mind other people having guns, I just don't want one in our home, ykwim? I'm lucky that he is with me on the Attachment parenting thing (since I feel like this is super important to me.) but the other issues (which do not need to be listed or mentioned again here.) are the things that making question whether I want any more children.
Amelia started waving hi and by! I love it! And she stands up unassisted now, like without having to pull up on a couch or anything, so she's pretty much going to be walking before I know it. Every day she gets more and more fun.
I started coughing at the table earlier today because my food was spicy, and she started coughing with me. Love!!

Congrats Tasha!!!! Congrats Moon!!! Welcome to the world baby Samantha. Lauryl and I are loving her middle name!
Today I had my last appt with the high risk Dr. I had a growth ultrasound and L is measuring 6 lbs! Everything looks really good. Tomorrow I have my regular OB appt and I start my weekly cervical checks- eek!
I'm off bed rest as of Saturday and am slowly getting my strength back. Went to that fancy french boutique, Target, today. Felt good to get out.
