Charting weirdness

So I was originally bummed that I was supposed to ovulate like Friday (CD17), and DH is going OOT starting tomorrow.

Well, I temp like normal this morning and stupid Fertility Friend tells me I ovulated on CD10!?

Apparently, my weekend temps spiked and it thinks I ovulated.

I'm fairly certain I didn't (though I was only half-assing OPKs since I usually don't O until CD16/17).

*I just discarded my temps from Sat/Sun (which were taken later than normal) and it kicked stuff back to normal.

Mine's been weird as well. FF said I was fertile but ovulation has not been detected and my temp hasn't gone up yet. Now it's saying I'm not fertile anymore, but maybe because of the change in CM (w to c).

Granted this is only my first cycle charting, but this is frustrating. I'm already on CD21.

Charting drives me nuts, so I quit! I just use OPKs. I hope its right and you ovulated early since your H will be gone this wknd!

Huh. I mean your period looks quite short, and so if your last day of real flow was on the 3rd, that would put your O this cycle 7 days later, and that's not unheard of. It's possible to O sooner or later in any given cycle, right? That's what you fine people keep telling me!

I'd say you probably won't know for sure until you hit your normal mid-cycle, and see what the temps and opks show. You don't do cm, right?? But have you noticed any changes there to match what it says about temps? I'd say you are prob right to disregard what FF says at this point, since you know your body, and while incredibly helpful, FF is just making analysis on data read: robot, and who knows if you were warmer that night for whatever reason. It could affect your results, no? Anyways, FF will probably make further adjustments along the way until your cycle is complete, and it will analyze based on the whole cycle. (I think you told me this actually!)

I'm learning quickly that there's always a chance that anything can happen when it comes to ttc.

We didn't have sex during that period though :-(

My periods have always been that short though, so not unusual for me at all (on and off the pill).

How were you planning to work it out with him going out of town this cycle anyways?? (that's not snark; it's a real question)

FWIW, I don't think you ovulated yet, but you might have to wait and see if you get a positive opk and your temp jumps up more.

Thanks, I don't think I have either. I used another OPK this morning and it looks darker than it did a couple days ago, but not positive, so I feel like the positive is likely coming.

Those are also low in relation to other post-O temps.
