Am I the only one who thinks it smells good? I fucking LOVE the smell. I do wonder what is in it. There used to be this weird warning on the bottle about using it while PG :/
Seche Vite has toluene in it. Toluene is quite a hazardous compound. It even has the following warning: “This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.”

I love how quickly it dries, but I must be doing something wrong when I apply it- it affects the colour of my polish, makes it chip very easily, and takes forever to come off my nails.
EVERYTHING in California has that warning. I'm not saying Seche Vite is harmless and you should start adding it to your wheat grass smoothies, but that warning in particular is practically meaningless.

Seriously, it's everywhere.
My hotel last month had this warning for things in their hotel no specific thing, just in general things on this property blah blah birth defects
Seche Vite is amazing. My only complaint is the shrinkage, which seems to be better if I put another topcoat on first, but in my head it makes Seche Vite a little less amazing when it's on.
I also have a problem with shrinkage. Even with another top coat under it
I use seche vite if I'm using a light colored polish, and it's fine because you don't notice the shrinkage, but I bought the Sally Hansen insta dri for darker colors.
I have yet to experience shrinkage, though I've only used it twice -- and with Lincoln Park After Dark. I do notice it chips a bit faster, but when the dry time is almost taken away, I don't care if I have to repolish more frequently.
I've not used the Sally Hansen, so I can't speak to that. I generally like SH products, though.
