I like camo during hunting season. *Disclaimer, I do not hunt furry creatures or hunt at all* but I'm guilty of staring at the selection of camo hoodies a bit too long when we were in Dicks last weekend. I didn't buy one because camo is way over priced.
I'm not a huge fan of it for weddings, formal events, daily wear (that isn't a sweatshirt/hoodie, etc), summer time, or on articles of clothing other then those clearly used for hunting or cold weather activity.
They don't belong on skinny jeans or cute clothing.
DD had a really cute camo bikini last year. But I am generally not a huge fan, even living in the south. My mom bought her camo crocs when she was 3. Those things were HIDEOUS!!!!
Ick. I don't support the wearing of camo outside of hunting activities. Though, that may be because I'm from a redneck town and there is an overabundance of it here.
for me it depends on the camo. i have plenty of it for hunting and wore PLENTY of it in the Army (old BDU, DCU, and the ACU patterns) but i think if i liked the camo, i'd definately buy the camo skinny jeans. may have to check out Gap even though i really don't like that store for some reason.
I also went through a weird camo phase in high school. Camo+flannel. It was bad. The kids on the bus called me Columbine girl. Yeah. I'll never wear camo again.
Camo is like an obsession where I live. I've already been to two camo themed weddings in the past two years.
I'm not a fan. At all.
I know it doesn't seem like there is, but there is a difference of wearing a camo jacket with studs from Zara and going to a wedding where everyone is dressed in Camo.
Not justifying the trend of camo, but one look is more about being "edgy" and the other is just redneck.
ETA: *some* people pull off camo really well. I don't think I'll be buying any pieces though.
