marriott in key west?

i am pretty sure it's in New Town which is a removed from Old Town / Duval Street. We also had points to burn this summer but chose to save them because we didn't want to be so far from the action.

Sorry,never been. That's new town KW which is far away (by KW terms*15-20min drive with trying to cut through all the traffic.* from the action of old town. Of course if you aren't into the action of old town then that locale would be fine.

We always stay at the Hyatt on Front St. as it not in the heart of the action but still close ( it's a couple blocks from Duval St).

If you stay in new town you could always rent a scooter or car or take a taxi into old town. Just be aware,parking is limited and of course if your drinking,driving is a no go.

We didn't stay here but had friends who did. The marriott offers free shuttles to and from Duval St or thereabout so it is very easy to get back and forth. If you want to stay out later than the shuttle runs it is an easy and cheap taxi ride back.
We stayed in a nearby Doubletree that had the same thing and we loved it. we could be in town for everything but then get away from it at the end of the day too.
