I can't seem to temp worth a damn - I'm up multiple times at night for a variety of reasons - sometimes the dogs sometimes the kid sometimes the room temp sometimes my bladder. So there's no determinable pattern .
I can't seem to get OPKs to work for me because I can't hold it 4 hrs due to all the water I drink (normal amounts btw).
The past 2 months everything has been timed 'perfectly' and still we're on cycle 7 or 8 without results. Yes we have a beautiful DD but we still feel like the family's not finished yet.

oh and I'm losing weight - which is good and necessary - because the Dr said 'lose 10% of your body weight and you'll have an easier time getting pregnant.' So I'm down more than 10% now, still 10 lbs from the heavy end of healthy, but still nothing...
I'm sorry, that sucks! Are you able to sleep at least 3 hours at a time, or not even that? Could you possibly put YH on kid and dog duty so you are able to sleep longer (or at least not leave the bed when you wake up)
Wish I had something more useful to say than that sucks, but really, that just sucks!

Feeling frustrated here too - just started cycle 5. I also had trouble temping, so I think I have given that up for now. I still do OPKs though. Can you try limiting how much you drink for a little while, then holding for an hour or two, then trying? I've never held for 4 hours- I think 's questionable advice, at least for people with bladder issues. This is what I do, and I get positives every month-
get up, go pee have breakfast, drink a little juice (probably 6-8ozs) drink nothing else, hold for 1.5-2 hours pee on stick.

With DD we used OPKs for like 3 months and got lucky on that 3rd month. But with her, I was coming off 13 yrs of being on the pill and my cycles were LOOONG (like 45 - 50 days). I was approx 150lbs then.
So after having DD, I didn't get my period back until she was about 9mo old (and I only BF'd for 3 mo). Since then, they have been 32-33 days like clock work - but my Dr still says 'oh they're irregular - you want to lose weight to help clear that up'. Uhhh sure doc. I did need to lose - I was 185 then - now down to 160 and working my way to 140 - 150.
DH takes most of the child wake up calls, my problem seems to be that when I wake up, I'm up for like 30 min trying to fall back to sleep. Sometimes I get a full 3 hrs back to back, but sometimes it's up for the dog, back to sleep for an hour or so and then up to pee, etc.
I do get CM - thankfully - but can't always tell if I've O'd based on thermal shifts since my temps are crazy.
It's funny - I try to limit my drinking when I know I'm going to be doing an OPK - but my body rebels. LOL On days I know I'm not doing an OPK, I can go for a couple hours without drinking anything or feeling the need to pee. Stupid bladder.

Thanks everyone for letting me vent. DH doesn't really 'get it' you know? I mean, he wants a baby too - but he's more of a 'it'll happen sooner or later' and I'm more of a planner.

I tried temping and it just wasn't working, I'm the worst morning person so I was always messing it up somehow lol. I'd jeep trying opks, I'm not sure that I always hold my pee 4 hrs. Can you do the opk when you wake up to pee in the middle of the night?

No advice, just hugs. I'm on cycle 5. Normally my charts are alright, but this month my bbt went wonky and I didn't realize it right away. So this whole months chart is effed. Blah. Oh well. Maybe the messed up chart month will be my lucky month?!
Oh, I do have advice! Chuck the opk's and just check cm instead. That's what I do!
