I love Grimm! It's one of my favorite shows this season.
I've been telling DH he should watch Grimm with me all year, but he refused. Then last night I come downstairs from putting DD to bed, and he's watching it. I walked in during the last 15 minutes, so I had the end spoiled for me but I haven't watched most of the episode yet.
I love that his mom is alive! I really want to hear the whole background on the Grimms, and I can't imagine how Nick would learn it if not from another Grimm.
I wouldn't be surprised if his dad is alive too, since both his parents were supposed to be Grimms who were murdered (although, isn't being a Grimm something passed down through one family? If so, maybe I'm wrong that both his parents were Grimms).
I predict I'll be annoyed with whatever reason they will give us for her letting her son think she was dead for 20 years. He was living with his Aunt Marie, who was also a Grimm, so it's not like he was so much safer not growing up with his parents.

I agree! Why was he raised with his aunt? She was a Grimm and she was attacked frequently. She had that trailer for a reason.
The whole cat scratch and Julia thing has me interested. She seemed like such a blow off character. Now she has the same look the cat did after the attack.
Will Nick now bring his partner in on all of this? Or let him go on thinking nightmarish crazy thoughts?

Maybe it's just me, but it felt like they just got tired of writing one night and decided to just end with what they had. Like, I thought it was a commercial break but really it was over.
How did his Aunt fight all these things off and Nick never noticed over the years? It's only been a year and Juliet's been attacked several times. I'd image a kid would be much easier to kidnap and hold hostage than a grown woman.
I don't love this show. I watch it more because I'm bored than anything else. I was surprised it got renewed.
I also really want clueless Juliette to become cognizant Juliette. It makes much more sense now that Monroe has an SO. My first thought about the Mom twist is that the Aunt did the bodyguard thing while the Mom ran interference with the heavy-hitting danger for the sake of giving Nick a normal-ish childhood.

I love Grimm. I was about to give up on halfway through the season because it was going so slow and nothing was tying together. I'm glad I stuck around! Its one of my favorite shows now!
