This is all new to me so be nice and dont laugh at me

I have a ovulation monitor I started testing today (day 10)
I test in the am when I wake up

once I see the little egg symbol does that mean Im going to ovulate that night or does it mean I already ovulated?

also what is a DPO and how do I know what I am?

I can't answer the questions about your specific product - maybe the insert is helpful? I have to keep re-reading the insert for my sticks to see exactly how far in advance they predict.

DPO is days past ovulation. CD is chart day. You use CD for days before ovulation and DPO for after. Check out fertilityfriend.com - it makes sense when you see the abbreviations on a chart.

An opk can not confirm you have ovulated, just that your body is gearing up to do so. So if it's positive, it means you might be ovulating soon.

DPO = days past ovulation. The day after you O = 1 dpo.

Are you on Fertility Friend? They have so much info that is really easy to understand.

Tarheels gave you good answers. Consult the Google or the insert that came with your fertility thingy. The monitor should also tell you how many DPO you are, and help you narrow down your window for testing.
