Waiting to hear back from the monitor!!

I know I don't come by much but I know you guys can relate. There are some really amazing slots open for this summer that DH would be perfect for and we have an email in to the monitor for one in particular. She's out of the office on a work trip but said she should be responding to emails. We haven't heard anything in a few days! I know patience is key but we are so eager to here back about this! It is involving a potential move to Australia... so eager to hear back!

WHAT! The nerve of them!!! Well, good for you!! good luck! I know the Marine Corps has a lot going on anyway with all the Lt's they are kicking out and what not... you probably know more about it than me, I only know a little bit from my husband talking about it.

I'm jealous that he gets to talk to the monitor. E is on the Major board and because of that he really can't talk to the monitors because he's basically in limbo until the board results come. Neither can think about placing him until they know the results. We are hoping for good news come December/January and then he can talk to the monitor. Plus, there is another board for schools that he is on that comes out at the same time. I'm not used to him not being able to talk to monitor, so I can't wait for the end of the year/ new year to hopefully figure out what is next on our next adventure with the USMC.

If only the monitor would write back!! DH is going to email her tomorrow if he hasn't heard by then. And that's great your hubby is on the board for Major. My husband is in the below zone so we have a few more years. It's taking forever to make major!!!

Hopefully, she gets back to you guys soon! Sometimes they take their sweet time. We are glad that he's on the board! I bet your H will be on the board next year. The board was shorter than it normally is, there were guys that E went to TBS and Comm School with that didn't make it, it has do the dates for the Marines. It's just nerve racking with the draw down. And I know it seems to be taking forever to make Major! E is going on 4 years as Capt, but when he gets Major select (I'm being positive) it's going to be about another 2 years before he pins.
