What kind of pregnancy test was it- blue dye or pink dye? Supposedly blue dye are notorious for false positives.

No clue about the bleeding- could it just still be your body adjusting? Hope you feel better soon!

A few days ago: take a CVS pregnancy test and it is positive. Go buy another one to double check and it is negative. Take another one the next morning and it is negative. This is just a few days after you saw EWCM. If that really was when you ovulated, it would be too early to get a positive on a test. I'm not sure what you saw, but it was likely either an evaporation line or a faulty test. I'm sorry.

Yesterday: super heavy/thick (sorry I know thats gross but it freaked me out) bleeding starts. This is probably your real period, and your normal cycle should resume. Consider this cycle day 1.

I got IUD #2 removed 3.5 weeks ago, so I know what you are going through. While we are still trying this cycle, I don't really expect anything to happen until I have my first post-IUD period.

I conceived DS2 on the cycle after my first post-IUD period when I had the last one removed. Good luck TTC.

A week and a half would be a SUPER short cycle in which to get pg. That would mean you'd have to ovulate on like CD4, which I'm not even sure is possible?

I'd disregard these last few weeks and start over like today is CD1 and start temping. Temping is totally a PITA, but honestly it's the best way for me to confirm other things I see (CM, OPKs, etc.)

Because to me, it sounds more like the "first" period was not really a period and might have just been removal bleeding.

Yeah, that's what I thought too.

Yeah, I had spotting after removal, then a full on, heavy period starting two days later.

ETA: I also felt PMSy and just off for two or three weeks after removal.
