Still in Norway, but sowing the long-term seeds for a transfer to Rio (maybe next year).
Ooo, let's talk. DH wants to relocate us to Brazil next year instead of returning to the U.S., but so far our best prospects would be in Sao Paulo, not Rio.
Also, I failed to give my schpiel above. Am a Cuban-American living in Paris. Have lived. studied & worked in Spain before (Seville & Madrid) and briefly in Rio, all before DD was born. New York is the place I am most likely to call "home" after having lived there for almost a decade.
Hey, I'm Irish... As the name suggests I'm Irish and live and work in Dublin with my dh and dd. lived in Lixembourg and Lobdon at various times! My sn was The Irish Gal on TN so not much of a change
DH and I are living in Switzerland. DH is Swiss/Argentine/Italian (yes...all 3 passports), I'm American. I'm an english preschool teacher here and DH works in the watch industry.

I'm an American from DC who is with a Croatian. I have lived in London previously and sort of Belgium (went a lot as a Master's student). I've traveled a lot in the US and Europe and am happy to be traveling more in Europe again. I'll also be going to Egypt in a bit over a month.
I was never on TN board, totally new. I stumbled across this board because I was dissatisfied with another one on the broader website. I don't really want to name them, it's probably not one that anyone on here frequents. There was just a lot of immature behavior and they were "typical Americans". I have to say that from the experience so far, everyone is WAY NICER on this board than that one. So yeah, I'm glad to have found this.

Really, wink wink, nudge nudge. I like the implications here. Congrats, I hope it works out.
Actually, I was eyeing Rio for a few years when I started getting antsy from being in one place for too long. I miss the adventure of living someplace hard! Now of course I have new reasons to move, but he old always come here! Mostly I'm just tired of my project and unhappy with all the recent changes. Add in the divorce and the big paycut when my mobile contract expired, and I just feel like it's time to move on. I have to stay through the end of the year though, so we'll see how things go.
H and I are Americans living in Spain. I grew up in Argentina. We've been here 4 months now with plans to eventually stay permanently. Due to work, we'll also live in the U.S. from time to time.
I've been on this board (on the Nest) from time to time but since I was living in the U.S, it seemed like I was always too late to comment on posts. I might be more active now!

I hadn't logged into TN for awhile, so I'm a little bit late to the new set-up... I had been Chapinito32, now I'm trotamundos. I'm an American (currently in the US) with Guatemalan DH. We're currently debating a quick trip to Guate in July, before we move to the Midwest, but that's our only potential travel on the horizon
This is a useful post. I wonder if somehow we can put this in a doc so we can see who people are? I confess I'm having a hard time keeping everyone straight.
I was ooolalalolo before and have shortened that to 'lolo' (so I am complicit in the screen name confusion perpetuated by our relocation). DH and I are Americans living in London, although we are looking at a potential move back to the States this summer (although to a totally different part).

Hey hey! Still the old SN, though with underscores to make it more easily understood.
DH and I are Americans living in the Netherlands! We're here for DH's job, though I'm working as well. I'm good with questions about cooking, traveling, and watching massive amounts of Food Network on television.
Formerly O b s e s s i o n (and before that t w o p e a s i n a p o d).
My story - we were two americans living in Amsterdam with our American baby and american yorkshire terriers for about 3 years. Both of us worked and the kid was in the Dutch daycare system. Some days I miss it some days I don't. USA! USA! USA!

Oh wow sorry ladies! I didn't notice the phone app lists all different threads on the main page. After i posted i read more of ur posts and realized my mistake.
I am Butterbrot, from Kansas, live in Germany, just had a delightful baby boy at the end of April, have an equally delightful daughter who is 3 and then some ... I also forgot the URL for this website, cannot drink enough coffee to help with coherent thinking, cannot drink enough beer to make me feel young and carefree again ...
